We are offering peripatetic lessons in music production in selected schools, which host either 2 learners at a time for a 20-minute lesson, or 3 learners for a 30-minute lesson. These lessons are equally suitable to those with experience of learning an instrument, as well as children with an interest in music but who don’t have any experience of instrumental teaching.
In the same way that learners progress through achievement ‘stages’ in instrumental lessons with HMS, music production students progress through stages specific to them. The scope of ‘music production’ lends itself to a number of practices – composition, mixing, sound engineering, DJ-ing, etc. – so the stages are fairly open ended as to enable the student to pursue what areas they most enjoy learning about.
